SunGuard Canopies will either repair or replace, at its option, free of charge, F.O.B. factory any part or parts found to be defective upon our inspection in materials and/or workmanship. Transportation in bound will be borne by purchaser, and return will be born by the factory. The return of the unit will not be accepted by the factory unless prior written permission has been extended by SunGuard Canopies. This warranty will not apply to any part which has become in-operative due to misuse, excessive use, accident, neglect, improper maintenance, alterations, and if the unit has not been installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided. Purchaser or end user agrees to hold SunGuard Canopies harmless in cases of loss due to acts of user. This warranty does not apply outside the continental USA.

There are several things which will defeat the SunGuard Canopy and your warranty. Driving into any immovable objects such as trees, walls, doorways, guy wires or any other overhead obstruction. You would be well advised to take your chain saw and remove limbs from trees in your normal mowing area to allow for clearance. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT IF YOU INTEND TO TRAILER YOUR EQUIPMENT THAT YOU REMOVE THE CANOPY OR INSTALL A STRAP OVER THE TOP AND SECURE.

The SunGuard Canopy is not intended to be used in any operating mode whereby the possibility of failing objects might happen. The unit, while having a great amount of static strength, is not intended as an overhead operator safety shield. IT IS NOT FOPS CERTIFIED.

MAINTENANCE

Check all bolts and nuts for proper tightness on a regular basis.

The units are a painted product utilizing special acrylic enamel specifically formulated for plastic. Use a good grade of auto wax once a year to maintain the finish.
